Introducing a New Outdoor Wedding Venue in Kitsap County

The Pacific Northwest may be known for rain, but the secret’s out! – we also have some of the nation’s best summers! Summer in western Washington typically means sunny, low humidity days with temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s. This perfect summer and early autumn climate is why outdoor weddings are very popular in the Puget Sound region from as early as mid-June through most of October.

As people become aware of Kingston House Weddings and Events, we hope to become one of Kitsap’s best outdoor wedding venues. Especially for couples looking for a natural, park-like venue, Kingston House Weddings and Events offers 15-acres of groomed lawns, gardens and mature trees, as well as a large pond with nature trails.

Kingston House’s grounds include an elegant Octogonal Ceremony Gazebo that’s perfect for outdoor weddings.

Outdoor weddings at Kingston House often center around our elegant Octogonal Ceremony Gazebo. Designed and built by my husband, Eric, the beautiful wood trim and elegant white pillars are set atop a brick circle. Taken together, it makes for a lovely setting for vows, or for musicians, for that matter.

Outdoor wedding venues in Kitsap County and elsewhere often feature large, pavilion-style tents. Kingston House Weddings and Events has three:

  • a 20 x 40-foot Ceremony Tent next to the Gazebo for up to 100 guests;
  • a 20 x 26-foot Patio Tent that’s perfect for dancing;
  • a large, 30 x 40-foot Banquet Tent for guests to enjoy buffet-style meals;

In addition to using these outdoor wedding facilities, however, some of our guests have elected to conduct ceremonies in a clearing between groves of trees, or in front of Jay’s Pond, a year-round estuary popular with ducks, geese and Great Blue Herons.

Kingston House’s pavilion-style tents and large expanses of lawn combine to create a wonderful Puget Sound outdoor wedding venue.

Among Kitsap County outdoor wedding venues, we think Kingston House has the best array of facilities for weddings and events of up to 150 guests. While some of our guests want a formal setting, others have preferred something more casual. Of course, it’s really up to you. If you’re looking for an outdoor wedding venue or event space in the Puget Sound area, we’d love to hear your vision! Chances are, Kingston House Weddings and Events venue can make it work… and work beautifully!
